It
is time to buckle down and start making some decisions about your
future. It is time to get
your personal resume completed. Your
resume can be used for college applications, career tech., or
employment. If you have not
compiled a resume you may want to check out the OKCIS website.
It is a wonderful resource for creating a resume, building a
portfolio, ACT practice tests, and even scholarship information.
The web address is okcis.intocareers.org.
Also, if you are planning to attend college and have narrowed
your choices contact the college(s) of interest and seek out any
scholarships that may be available to you.
You also need to pay attention to application and scholarship
deadlines, most freshman scholarship deadlines are due either February 1
or March 1.

LETTER(S)
OF RECOMMENDATION:
Students
if you need a letter of recommendation please consider who you may wish
to write the letter and give them ample time to prepare the letter.
Administrators and teachers are very busy as well.
An information sheet was placed in your box previously and is
very helpful to those that you may ask to write a letter for you.
This gives the writer a more personal look at your goals and
accomplishments. You may
duplicate the information sheet if more is needed.
OTHER
INFORMATION:

let me know if you need a transcript sent to a college, I will be
